{"id":10872,"date":"2022-01-17T11:05:50","date_gmt":"2022-01-17T09:05:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/apador.org\/?p=10872"},"modified":"2025-03-13T10:34:09","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T08:34:09","slug":"ned-consolidarea-societatii-civile-in-europa-de-est-2022-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/apador.org\/en\/ned-consolidarea-societatii-civile-in-europa-de-est-2022-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"NED &#8211; Strengthen the resilience of civil society in East Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This project aims to strengthen the resilience of civil society organizations in Central Europe. <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">In 2022-24, the Poland-based Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights and its partners APADOR-CH and Hungarian Helsinki <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Committee will utilize renewed NED funds to c<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">onvene a series of trainings which will aim to strengthen the resilience of civil society in Poland, Romania and <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Hungary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The project will allow the program partners to reflect on the experience gained by each organization in its country, and share the lessons learned with the groups in the other countries, before the 2024 elections.<\/p>\n<p>The program will also be an exchange of observations, best practices and experiences on how civil society efforts can play a crucial role in defending and strengthening democratic processes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Each of the three program partners will convene a series of training sessions tailored to address the <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">needs of their staff, as well as the needs of other human rights organizations with which they network and cooperate in <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">their own countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In particular, <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">APADOR-CH will conduct three series of trainings such as: t<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">rainings that will explore fundraising opportunities for <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">NGOs in Romania, and will educate the participants about EU law mechanisms, and the Citizens, Equality, <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Rights and Values program, <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">trainings that aim to improve the communications skills of <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">civil society representatives from several partner organizations or <\/span>training that will focus on helping civil society to prepare for cyber-attacks, while helping them <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">to improve cybersecurity procedures in their own organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This project aims to strengthen the resilience of civil society organizations in Central Europe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":7215,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[30],"tags":[1663,1664],"class_list":["post-10872","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-finalizate","tag-national-endowment-for-democracy","tag-training-apdor-ch"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/apador.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/10872","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/apador.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/apador.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/apador.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/apador.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=10872"}],"version-history":[{"count":6,"href":"https:\/\/apador.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/10872\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":10887,"href":"https:\/\/apador.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/10872\/revisions\/10887"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/apador.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/7215"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/apador.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=10872"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/apador.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=10872"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/apador.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=10872"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
