Astăzi, 24 noiembrie 2009, Curtea Europeană a Drepturilor Omului a condamnat România pentru încălcarea dreptului la un proces echitabil şi a dreptului la liberă exprimare, în două cauze Ieremeiov împotriva României.
Penitenciarul Târgşor, situat în vecinătatea oraşului Ploieşti, judeţul Prahova, este unicul din ţară destinat femeilor şi găzduieşte persoane condamnate definitiv la pedepse privative de libertate şi pe cele deja condamnate printr-o hotărâre definitivă dar care sunt cercetate în stare de arest preventiv în altă cauză
APADOR-CH invită avocaţii interesaţi să participe la seria de sesiuni de instruire cu tema „Protecţia drepturilor omului şi combaterea discriminării” ce vor fi organizate în lunile septembrie-decembrie 2009 la Bucureşti şi în 4 centre din ţară.
APADOR-CH atrage din nou atenţia asupra faptului că Ministerul Internelor şi Reformei Administrative şi Ministerul Justiţiei nu au elaborat încă regulamentul de aplicare în aresturile poliţiei a Legii nr. 275/2006 privind executarea pedepselor şi a măsurilor dispuse de organele judiciare în cursul procesului penal.
