Antidiscrimination Coalition
APADOR-CH, as a member of the Anti-Discrimination Coalition, will implement the project: Access to Justice and Appropriate Restitution for Persons who are Victims of Discrimination, coordinated by the ACCEPT Association and funded by the grants SEE 2009 – 2014, under the NGO Foundation in Romania.
This project aims to increase access to justice and remedies for people exposed to discrimination. The project responds to the following problems:
– Lack of significant legal consequences likely to deter acts of discrimination,
– General lack of public information on existing remedies for cases of discrimination.
In order to address these problems, the project proposes the following as main objectives:
– Strengthen the Anti-Discrimination Coalition’s capacity to defend and advocate, with respect to an increase in access to justice and adequate remedies for people vulnerable to discrimination.
– Development and promotion of information services, tools, and resources that will allow for an increased access to justice for people affected by discrimination.
