How to communicate about human rights causes
About the workshop
In this 90-minute workshop, participants will get an introduction to developing persuasive, powerful messaging that grows public support for progressive causes like human rights, social justice and environmental protection. You’ll get an insight into:
- how people form their opinions
- messaging habits that are working against you
- what goes into a winning message
The trainer draws on a school of practice known variously as strategic communications, framing or narrative change. This is based on decades of academic research in the brain sciences and social psychology as well as its practical application to win campaigns on progressive causes.
